Prayers please!

But not for me this time.
I'm just going to copy and paste the request as it was given to me.

Dear Friends and Family,

I have a prayer request for all of you. My father and sister were out with our parish youth group on a multiday hike - organized by dad this year. They traditionally have a plane fly in pizza on the last night as a celebratory kind of thing. The plane managed to drop off the food, but all of a sudden, about 100 ft. from the cabin the plane dropped and crashed straight into the ground nose first. Dad was the first one on the scene apparently, quickly followed by my sister Anna and a few others. There were two young men in the plane - Mike (30), and Matt (21). Matt is the son of our priest and his wife who are close friends of the family, and a student at Notre Dame. Dad pronouced Mike, the pilot, dead after a couple minutes, but Matt is still alive and was taken by helicopter out to the hospital in Anchorage. He is currently in a coma with very serious injurious. The young teens on this hike all witnessed the crash, including Matt's sister Angela and also his father, Fr. Scott. Anna had to help with Matt, who was unconcious the entire time with many broken bones and abrasions, sponging blood etc., and Dad basically saved Matt's life. The hikers were all flown out back close to Anchorage, but are all incredibly traumatized and distraught. If you could pray for the repose of Mike's soul, for his young wife and 2 year old son, for the life and recovery of Matt, for Matt's family, and for all the hikers, especially for Anna and Dad who were incredibly involved in helping Matt, and who are both in extreme amounts of pain and shock. Thank you.

And in case you have been trying to contact me over the past two days, I'm leaving my phone open for my family, especially Anna, who needs to talk and is a lot of shock. Thank you for you prayers!

God Bless,
Katy Tappel

Please please remember all these people in your prayers, especially at mass, and if at all possible, as your parish priests to offer up a mass or two or twenty for them. Also please remember the soul of the Caine's baby, one of a pair of twins, who was taken to the hospital yesterday with "severe breathing problems", and passed away. Feel free to spread the word to any of your friends and family, the more prayers the better. We once got most of TAC praying for a guy named Brian Martin, and he went from being pronounced dead on the scene to making a complete recovery and graduating from TAC, despite head injuries so severe that doctors said recovery was completely impossible.
Thank you all for your prayers now and in the past, and may God bless you all.
