Today, at a good catholic school, in a good catholic theology class, led by a good catholic tutor and composed primarily of good catholic students, we concluded that:
1) There are only two persons in God
2) They are both the same person
3) Jesus was not perfect, but may have become perfect when he ascended
4) God is not perfect
5) Jesus somehow lost glory and had to ask God to give it back to him
6) Jesus died for our sins as man, not as God, and that's what matters
7) Jesus didn't need to die for our sins, it just needed to be a man making a sacrifice which God accepted
8) Sam Almeida, by his own admission, could have been sacrificed for the salvation of all the world, and if God had accepted his sacrifice, it would have worked
9) Ok, Maybe Sam could have saved just half the world
10) Or just himself
11) Ok fine, Sam could have saved some snails possibly, or maybe the scum on my shoes. But maybe he also could have saved the whole world, I'm so steeped in heresy right now I don't even know.
God help us all...it's getting cloudy...I sense some divine retributional lighting str-
