Lost
As I wander on life's endless road
I've often lost my way
Depression, sorrow, sin and vice
Have oft caused me to stray
Too many times by far I find
I've wandered in the night
And now the path is lost to me
Although the day is bright
So now I find I've lost my way
My path's no longer clear
And worst of all I'm wandering
Far from my friends so dear
Am I far fom the proper track?
Where does it lie from here?
Should keep on my present course
Or on another steer?
My destination seemed so plain
When I first made my choice
But now regret soft whispers with
A gentle warning voice
I've often lost my way
Depression, sorrow, sin and vice
Have oft caused me to stray
Too many times by far I find
I've wandered in the night
And now the path is lost to me
Although the day is bright
So now I find I've lost my way
My path's no longer clear
And worst of all I'm wandering
Far from my friends so dear
Am I far fom the proper track?
Where does it lie from here?
Should keep on my present course
Or on another steer?
My destination seemed so plain
When I first made my choice
But now regret soft whispers with
A gentle warning voice
